South East Asian Sword

Overall it is just under 55cms with a blade of 43cms the blade is very rigid, shows distal taper and has a hatchet tip. The bronze hilt with the baluster shaped ‘grip’ and the sloped ‘ring’ below is characteristic of weapons in the Southern part of Borneo. The style and design of this hilt creates a very comfortable feel in the hand and a positive grip that allows for powerful cutting motions.
